For this project, Supreme Tech Insulation tackled both attic and wall insulation to maximize energy efficiency. In the attic, we implemented the BIB System (Mesh and Blow), utilizing Owens Corning ProPink insulation. We began by constructing a 10-inch deep cardboard barrier, ensuring an R40 insulation value.
A durable mesh was then secured to the rafters, followed by precise blown-in insulation and a meticulously sealed vapor barrier. For the walls, we applied Elastochem’s Insulthane Extreme spray foam, achieving R22 insulation value, and paid close attention to acoustically sealing any stud variations for a flawless finish. The result? A significantly more comfortable and energy-efficient home.
